DESIRA
What is it?
DESIRA (Digitisation: Economic and Social Impacts in Rural Areas) is a Horizon 2020 project that aims to improve the capacity of society and political bodies to respond to the challenges that digitalisation generates in agriculture, forestry and rural areas.
Who is it for?
The initiative addresses every activity with the understanding that digitalization is a social transformation process powered by digital technologies. As a "game changer" for rural areas and sectors, it recognizes the transformative character of digitalization and its effect on how rural people and players study, work, travel, and interact.
It can be a very useful tool for players in the construction industry, digital tech companies, associations, research and academia.
