Selma Harrington, PhD, is an Architect, author, policy advisor and researcher based in Dublin, Ireland. She is an experienced Programme Director with a leading track record of work in academia, architecture practice and professional advocacy through pan-European and international professional associations. With several leading roles in the Architects Council of Europe (President, Vice-President, Executive Board member), Selma is currently a Chair of ACE EU Projects working group. Her professional and academic interests include cultural and built heritage, architecture education and sustainable development goals. She publishes and peer-reviews for academic journals and edited volumes on topics of the 20th-century architecture and Museums; Bullt environment, identity, policy and place making. As part of her professional engagement with the Western Balkans, she is a Founding principal of the New European Bauhaus Forum Bosnia and Herzegovina.
