Reduction of carbon dioxide emissions into the environment 4. eCAADe (Education and Research in Computer Aided Architectural Design in Europe) is a non-profit association of institutions and individuals with a common interest in creating and promoting good practice and sharing information in relation to the use of computers in research and education in architecture and related fields. eCAADe runs an annual international conference and an annual symposium, which are hosted by different universities in Europe each year. In addition to paper presentations and indexed proceedings, these events include a PhD workshop intended to expose young researchers’ work to critique by experienced researchers, as well as research and professional workshops, aimed at updating participants of the latest developments in research and in the industry. The organisation initiated and manages the very successful CumInCAD archive of research publications in the field of Computer Aided Architectural Design.

IBA UKRAINE is a project-campaign for international cooperation supporting Ukraine with reconstruction and foster a sustainable building culture. Its tool is the IBA Code, aligning with principles of the IBA-Memorandum and New European Bauhaus of the European Commission. Envisaged is a large spectrum of projects, varying from emergency housing, neighbourhood renewal and masterplans for reconstruction to social amenities - projects across Ukraine. Participatory elements in planning processes and design competitions will be applied as instruments of democratic planning processes.
